  • two extra batteries for even more power on the go,
  • an HP Swirl sleeve case,
  • a New Orleans Saints sleeve case,
  • a Logitech wireless mini mouse,
  • a Sony Pocket E-reader (holds up to 350 of your favorite books, lightweight, small enough to slip into a purse or jacket pocket, 5" display with E Ink paper-like screen technology for easy reading, even in direct sunlight.)
  • and a T-Mobile Rocket 4G USB modem. (offers convenient prepaid access to T-Mobile's blazing-fast 4G mobile broadband network--use data when you need to and refill easily on the web. It also doubles as a USB thumb drive, with a microSD memory card slot that's compatible with optional cards up to 32 GB in size. You can choose from three prepaid plans, ranging from $10 for 100 MB of use in a week to $30 for 1 GB or $50 for 3 GB of data used within 30 days.)

I upgraded my mobile devices and no longer use these. They have served me well over the past two years. I purchased in September 2011. Still in perfect condition with no scratches. I take excellent care of all my devices.
This would be perfect for someone who works on the go, or for the new Grad who wants access to the web and a laptop for homework, or for a teen's first laptop.

Total value of everything together is $887. I'm selling for $450 for it all.

Dollars for Snickers

Hello Friends.

As a pet parent, I love my dogs as if they are my children. Our pets are so close to us, that we often treat them better than we treat ourselves. They provide us comfort, laughs, protection and undiluted love. When they hurt, we hurt along with them and we try to provide as much care as we can when they are in need.

I don't know if you remember last year when I asked you for help for my friend, Theresa and her son, Dillon, for their beloved lab, Snickers. When Snickers was diagnosed with degenerative Hip Dysplasia in his right hip and was in need of an $800 surgery, we raised $1200 for Snickers surgery and therapy. He recovered well and lives a happy life chasing sticks and being a sidekick to 8 year old Dillon.

Bad news is that Snickers now has hip dysplasia in his left hip and is in need of the same surgery. Theresa's vet has agreed to perform the surgery for half cost, which still puts it around $500 + medicine and therapy.

Hip dysplasia is an abnormal formation of the hip socket that, in its more severe form, can eventually cause crippling lameness and painful arthritis of the joints. It is painful to watch Snickers limp around and try to play with Dillon.

So again, I'm asking you, my friends, to help get Snickers the surgery he needs to live out his life pain free with the people he loves.

Please donate all you can. $1, $5, $10, $20 anything helps.

Pandora's Box

"Do you ever feel you become the worst version of yourself? That a Pandora's Box of all the secret hateful parts -- your arrogance, your spite, your condescension -- has sprung open. Someone provokes you, and instead of just smiling and moving on, you zing them. Hello, it's Ms. Nasty.
I'm sure you have no idea what I'm talking about.... Wouldn't it be wonderful if I could pass all my zingers to you and then I would never behave badly and you could behave badly all the time and we'd both be happy? On the other hand, I must warn you that when you finally have the pleasure of saying the thing you mean to say at the moment you mean to say it, remorse inevitably follows.

Sometimes I wonder about my life.
I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void.... So goodnight, dear void."

i suck at life, but i'm wicked cool....

today is just another reminder of how lame i've become. no plans... just work, work, pay bills, and work some more... but i have the weekend to look forward to. :(

mid-day martini magic

since this week started, i have been hidden away behind a desk from just about everything. the only thing not  hidden away is my poor liver. i'm sure if it could talk it would beg me to lay off the sauce. but i'm on a lunch break.

so yesterday two of my girl friends and i went out for martinis in the middle of the day. we found a place with five dollar absolut vodka martinis. we sat and tried out the flavors of martini until we got pleasantly drunk. we laughed at all of the people who had to work. (in case you're wondering who is at a bar in the middle of  the day, it's not a pretty sight. except of course for me and my friends. we're pretty) it was like sex and the city, but without all the sex and men and more like a small town. i'm not sure where they were. perhaps vacationing on the island of lost men. then we got off work and went to coyotes where we threw back a couple bottles of pabst and ate cheez-its. we are some classy women. what can i say?

after my second beer i looked at my friends with drunken love and declared my appreciation of their amazing ability to toss 'em back without passing out or throwing up.

i love my friends.

it's entirely possible that we may never grow up.
